Twenty years ago Nick and Pat Dimitroff started a furniture store at the corner of I-77 and Ghent Road. First it was Shoppe Country Oak, then Traditions Home Furnishings, and now the best yet, Dimitroff's Furniture & Design.

The most difficult days. In 2002, Nick and Pat Dimitroff retired, selling Traditions to a young man who seemed to have it all under control – until he suddenly went out of business. Although they had no legal obligation to return, the Dimitroffs felt a moral duty to their employees and customers – some left without furniture that they had ordered! Today, we are proud to say that all outstanding orders have been fulfilled.
